Responsibilities
Welding gates and/or operators into place
Wiring and programing operators
Installing operating system and/or mechanical tracks for gate system
Assembling gates and fastening them into position
Establishing the location for gate and gather information needed to ensure there are no electric cables or water lines in the area
Digging holes using spades, posthole diggers, excavators or power-driven augers mounted to skid loaders
Mixing and pouring concrete around bases of posts and/or pedestals
Constructing and repairing barriers
Qualification
Required
Install and repair gate operating systems and gates using hand and power tools
Welding gates and/or operators into place
Wiring and programming operators
Installing operating system and/or mechanical tracks for gate system
Assembling gates and fastening them into position
Establishing the location for gate and gathering information needed to ensure there are no electric cables or water lines in the area
Digging holes using spades, posthole diggers, excavators or power-driven augers mounted to skid loaders
Mixing and pouring concrete around bases of posts and/or pedestals
Constructing and repairing barriers
Ability to fix any type of mechanical system
Candidates will be required to weld and wire low voltage electrical systems
Preferred
2 - 5 years' industry experience preferred
Aptitude for construction and reading plans
Ability to work with low voltage electrical systems
Mechanical backgrounds
Relevant experience as garage/overhead door technicians, mechanics, and/or low voltage electricians
Long-time experience working on and repairing cars and trucks
