The Materials and Supply Chain Manager is responsible for managing the procurement, supply, and delivery of materials and products, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality goods at optimal prices.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs, ensure quality, and minimize supply chain risks

Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to establish strong, mutually beneficial relationships

Negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions

Identify areas for improvement in the procurement process and implement best practices

Drive cost savings through strategic sourcing, negotiation, and process optimization

Manage inventory levels to ensure timely availability of materials while minimizing holding costs

Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, such as disruptions, price fluctuations, and supplier performance issues

Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure smooth operations

Analyze procurement data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement

Perform other duties as assigned by leadership

Required

High school diploma/GED required

2+ years of experience in OPE material planning, inventory management, purchasing, or a related position

Strong organizational and time management skills

Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management

Good communication skills, both verbal and written

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and material management systems

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication; verbal, written, and presentation skills

Preferred

Degree in business, logistics, inventory management, or a related field preferred

SAP experience preferred, 1-2 years
