Responsibilities
Set up machines, retrieve programs, and select proper tooling
Perform quality checks using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers)
Conduct routine maintenance and diagnose machine issues
Maintain accurate production records
Program CNC interface for light gauge panel bending
Work independently and make sound fabrication decisions
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3 years of experience operating CNC press brakes
Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Familiarity with materials like galvanized steel, aluminum, and stainless steel
Proficient in using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and math skills
Physically able to lift 50–75 lbs, stand for long periods, bend, twist, squat
Comfortable working in both hot and cold environments
Preferred
Experience with graphical CNC interfaces
Strong situational awareness and organizational skills
Background in lean manufacturing or process improvement
