Responsibilities
Responsible for contract negotiation of clinical trials, subcontracts, nondisclosure agreements, and consortium agreements
Main point of contact for conducting negotiations with external sponsors on behalf of TSRI
Works collaboratively with the division/department to ensure agreements facilitate the conduct of research at TSRI in compliance with applicable laws and institutional policies
Provides action-oriented and expert support to Principal Investigators (PIs) and the division/department
Handles specific clinical trial and audit issues with integrity
Qualification
Required
2+ years' experience in contract formation, contract negotiation, or administration required
Working knowledge federal and state laws, rules and regulations related to research required
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience required
Preferred
Previous experience negotiating clinical research or healthcare contracts preferred
Experience in an academic medical center preferred
Advanced degree (JD, MBA, MHA) preferred
Certified Research Administrator preferred
