Responsibilities

Monitors and oversees the administration of the day-to-day operations of the assigned area of responsibility related to an administrative and managerial function
Provides direction and communication to support the department/unit
Conducts assessments in order to design improvements to department programs
Works to ensure that staff and students have an understanding of programs that are available

Required

Requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and seven years of relevant experience

Bachelor's degree
Five years of relevant experience
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information
Demonstrated ability to promote the organization's mission and vision
Experience with human resources administration
Experience supervising and leading others
Experience using an applicant tracking system
Experience in higher education
Ability to initiate and maintain professional relationships with diverse groups and individuals
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, to work collaboratively and to garner the trust of others
Experience leading strategic staffing planning and initiatives for a unit
