Laboratory Information System (LIS)
Centers Health Care is seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled LIS Analyst to support, maintain, and optimize their Laboratory Information System (LIS). The LIS Analyst will act as a liaison between the IT department, laboratory staff, and vendors, ensuring efficient operations within the clinical laboratory environment.

Responsibilities
Maintain and support the Orchard Enterprise LIS and associated laboratory software applications
Configure and manage laboratory test builds, interface setups, result reporting, and instrument connectivity
Act as a liaison between laboratory users, IT teams, and system vendors for updates, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
Develop and maintain system documentation, workflows, and change control procedures
Monitor LIS system performance, ensure data integrity, and maintain security compliance
Support LIS-related projects including upgrades, new module implementations, and integration efforts
Provide training and ongoing support to laboratory and clinical staff regarding LIS functionality and enhancements
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, CAP, CLIA) in all system configurations and data handling
Participate in on-call rotation and respond to after-hours system issues as needed
Demonstrate self-motivation, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team
Utilize SQL tools to develop and generate ad hoc reports for data collection, interfaces, and lab operations
Integrate the LIS with other healthcare systems (e.g., EHRs) and connect it with laboratory instruments
Qualification
Required
Detail-oriented and technically skilled
Experience with Orchard Enterprise LIS and associated laboratory software applications
Ability to configure and manage laboratory test builds, interface setups, result reporting, and instrument connectivity
Experience acting as a liaison between laboratory users, IT teams, and system vendors
Ability to develop and maintain system documentation, workflows, and change control procedures
Experience monitoring LIS system performance, ensuring data integrity, and maintaining security compliance
Experience supporting LIS-related projects including upgrades, new module implementations, and integration efforts
Ability to provide training and ongoing support to laboratory and clinical staff regarding LIS functionality and enhancements
Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, CAP, CLIA) in system configurations and data handling
