Oversee all accounting functions, including regulatory and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and timeliness
Manage daily, weekly, and monthly accounting activities and support the overall financial operations of the Bank
Partner closely with the Controller/CFO to recommend, develop, and maintain sound accounting principles, policies, and procedures that support compliant and effective financial and regulatory reporting
Provide leadership and direction to accounting staff, ensuring work is appropriately assigned, deadlines are met, and operational efficiencies are achieved
Qualification
Required
Financial Accounting Experience With Strong GAAP Knowledge Required
2-5 years of related accounting experience
3+ years of supervisory or people leadership experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
Preferred
Experience with regulatory and financial reporting in a banking environment preferred
Knowledge of community banking operations and regulations is strongly preferred
