Responsibilities
Design the Framework: Define the approvals, reconciliations, and audit trails the company's products need
Product Partnership: Collaborate with engineers to bake safeguards and activity logs into new features
SOC 1 Leadership: Own the documentation, testing, and coordination with external auditors
Client Advocacy: Serve as the expert liaison for enterprise client auditors, helping them understand how their tech supports their environment
Innovation: Stay ahead of the curve on AI and automation in the accounting space
Qualification
Required
5+ years in internal/external audit or controllership (Big 4 or top-tier advisory a must)
Must have SaaS or tech experience
Direct experience with SOC 1 or SOX controls, building out an internal framework
Ability to translate complex control requirements for technical and non-technical stakeholders
You're ready to collaborate in person at our NYC headquarters (4-5 days/week)
