Responsibilities

Coordinate a team of field and office personnel
Prepare project proposals
Perform Deed and plan research
Prepare Required Survey documents following local municipality requirements (Record Plans, Plat of Survey documents, Legal Descriptions, and plot plans)
Responsible for project permitting and approvals through local agencies
Coordinate and prepare ALTA Surveys
Coordinate and prepare Topographic Surveys
Prepare Easement Exhibits and Descriptions
Perform Flood Elevation Certifications and obtain approval through FEMA as needed

Qualification

Ohio Professional Surveying CertificationLand Surveying experienceAutoCAD Civil 3DGPS survey equipmentMicrosoft OfficeVerbal skillsAnalytical problem solvingWritten skillsTeam collaboration

Required

Bachelor Degree in Land Surveying or equivalent from an Accredited Institution
Ohio Professional Surveying (PS) Certification required
4-10 years of experience in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering and Land Development
Working knowledge of conventional, robotic and GPS survey equipment
Experience in office and field tasks required by Land Surveying and Civil Engineering projects
Experience with Construction Layout and standards of practice
Microsoft Office experience required (Word, Excel Spreadsheets)
AutoCAD Civil 3D experience required
Excellent written and verbal skills required

Preferred

Active Involvement in Professional Organizations related to Surveying is a plus
