The Ohio State University is seeking faculty in translational biomedical imaging research at the rank of associate or full professor. The successful candidates will develop and lead an independent research program, secure grant funding, mentor trainees, and collaborate with investigators across the College of Medicine and the university.

Participate in institutional efforts to translate novel imaging technologies and methodologies into clinical practice

Qualification

Ph.D. in relevant fieldTranslational researchMRI applicationsMolecular imagingGrant funding experienceResearch collaborationTeaching experienceMentoring trainees

Required

Earned doctorate or other terminal degree in the relevant field of study or possession of equivalent experience
Minimum of 50% salary support from external funding sources for senior faculty appointments
Established history of research accomplishment and grant funding, as well as active grants for senior level appointment
Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Physics, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or a related discipline
Scientific collaboration and research interests in translational research in MRI and/or molecular imaging applications in neuroscience
