This role is crucial for ensuring the company’s financial health through accurate reporting and strong internal controls, while supporting multi-entity, multi-currency financial operations.

Responsibilities
Assist with the development and documentation of business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen the Company’s internal control environment
Participate in the streamlining of workflows, processes, and standard operating procedures
Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with GAAP
Perform vendor trend analysis to ensure completeness of monthly expenses
Assist in preparing monthly flux analysis
Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual account reconciliations, including bank reconciliation
Review and approve employee expense reimbursements and company credit card transactions
Assist with audit preparation
Assist in reviewing and processing accounts payable
Prepare check run files for review by the Accounting Manager or Controller and process electronic payments and ACH
Maintain vendor records (including retrieving W-9s) and respond to inquiries
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the timely and accurate flow of financial information
Qualification
Required
5+ years of progressive accounting experience in either public or corporate accounting, or both
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred
A working understanding of US GAAP theory and application; bonus if you know IFRS!
Experience with NetSuite and consolidated financial reporting for multi-currency, multi-entity, or multi-national operations
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas)
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
