The Marketing Intern will support marketing initiatives aimed at startups and emerging companies, assisting in content creation and legal communication.

Responsibilities
Draft and edit IP- and startup-focused content (practice-area pages, client guides, blog posts, FAQs, newsletters)
Help translate complex legal concepts (trademarks, patents, licensing, enforcement) into clear, founder-friendly marketing materials
Support website updates, landing pages, and content organization for startup and IP audiences
Assist with SEO research and optimization for IP- and startup-related search terms
Support social media content tailored to founders, inventors, and small businesses (e.g., LinkedIn, X, Instagram)
Conduct market, competitor, and keyword research in the IP and startup legal space
Help prepare marketing materials for startup outreach (pitch-event materials, founder resources, educational posts)
Track and report basic performance metrics (content engagement, website traffic, lead sources)
Ensure all marketing materials comply with legal advertising and ethics rules
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Entrepreneurship, Journalism, or a related field
Strong writing skills, with the ability to explain technical and legal topics clearly
Interest in startups, technology, innovation, branding, and intellectual property
High attention to detail and discretion with confidential information
Familiarity with digital marketing, SEO basics, and social media platforms
Self-starter who is comfortable working in a small, fast-moving practice
Preferred
Experience with content management systems, analytics tools, or design platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Notion)
Prior interest in law is helpful, but not a must
