Director of Human Resources
Benevolent Hearts Home Care is seeking a Director of Human Resources to ensure the recruitment, retention, and development of top caregivers while maintaining client satisfaction. The role involves overseeing caregiver recruitment, hiring processes, and ensuring compliance with agency policies and state regulations.

Responsibilities
Seek out and hire qualified applicants, maintain a pool of qualified caregivers that meets the demands of client volume and growth
Receive signed hire packet from newly hired caregivers and complete the hiring process using established guidelines
Conduct new hire orientation for caregivers to ensure compliance with the agency policies and procedures
Ensure all caregivers have completed background checks and registry checks before contact with clients
Conduct caregiver orientation, when necessary, to the client to ensure compliance of caregivers with the client’s individual service plan
Enter new caregiver information into Soneto by the end of the business day it was received, and ensure that the data is up to date
Enter applicable activities and updates by the end of the business day it was received
Maintain employee files according to agency operational guidelines and compliance with state regulations
Participate in each weekly team meeting
Conduct employee chart audits, making appropriate corrections to ensure compliance with the company policies
Conduct regular weekly check-in calls with new hires and seasoned caregivers to ensure employee satisfaction
Contact caregivers who are active, but not working, as well as inactive caregivers, to update their status each week on Thursday
Conduct caregiver disciplinary actions and terminations due to poor performance or violation of company policy when necessary
Perform other related duties as required
Qualification
Required
Must be 18 years of age
Must be able to speak, read, and write the English language
Must have transportation in good working order
Must have demeanor and social skills that would enable them to communicate well with clients to achieve favorable outcomes
At least one year of experience or certified training in caring for individuals with functional disabilities or completion of CSS Caregiver Training Program examinations within 6 months of hire date
At least 2 years of college is required, or a college degree is preferred
At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience
Knowledge of state-specific regulatory standards for the PAS industry
Experience in caregiving
Proven ability to drive caregiver recruitment and retention
Ability to oversee the onboarding process, audit compliance, and HR systems with accuracy and efficiency
Ability to build rapport with caregivers, office staff, and clients
Excellent verbal and listening communication skills
Ability to manage time and prioritize work
