The Judge Group is currently seeking a Production Manager for their thermoforming operation. This role will lead all polymer and thermoforming operations, ensuring process control, machine efficiency, tooling performance, and product quality.

Responsibilities

Department Leadership: Oversee polymer operations, enforce process discipline, and ensure uptime and performance

Technical Expertise: Manage resin trials, new product launches, and process validations

Vendor & Equipment Management: Liaise with machine builders, mold makers, and automation partners; approve tooling upgrades and ensure technical compliance

Maintenance & Reliability: Partner with Maintenance to improve machine reliability and eliminate chronic failures

Standards & Training: Develop SOPs, recipes, and troubleshooting guides; lead technical training and skill development

Data & Digitalization: Use MES and ERP (SAP) for performance tracking and data-driven decision-making

Safety & Compliance: Enforce OSHA, GMP, and customer requirements; lead audits and incident investigations

Team Development: Coach supervisors, monitor performance, and build a high-performing technical team
