Social Media Manager

Richline Group, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, is a leading jewelry manufacturer and marketer. They are seeking an experienced Social Media Manager to lead social media efforts for their brand, Silpada, focusing on strategy, content planning, and community growth across various platforms.

Responsibilities

Own and implement the overarching social media strategy across all channels to drive brand awareness, engagement, and revenue growth
Develop a cohesive full funnel content strategy that integrates organic content, UGC, influencers, and paid advertising
Build monthly and quarterly social roadmaps aligned with marketing campaigns, product launches, and business goals
Monitor industry trends, platform updates, competitor activity, and consumer behavior to ensure the brand stays ahead of the curve
Write clear and compelling creative briefs for the social content team and for paid social ads
Oversee production of brand content and UGC, including requesting, directing, reviewing, and approving assets
Lead concept development for campaigns, storytelling hooks, Reels, TikTok series, evergreen UGC, and influencer collaborations
Maintain consistent brand voice and visual identity across all social platforms
Schedule, publish, and manage all social media posts across channels
Ensure the content calendar is optimized for engagement, reach, and revenue
Collaborate with marketing, creative, and merchandising teams to ensure accuracy and alignment across campaigns
Develop and execute the full UGC strategy to support paid ads and organic channels
Create UGC assets personally when needed
Recruit, brief, and manage UGC creators and negotiate usage rights
Write UGC contracts and usage right agreements
Review and approve all UGC submissions for quality and brand fit
Manage influencer programs from outreach and negotiations to onboarding and ongoing communication
Identify new talent partners and build long term relationships with creators aligned with the brand ethos
Track influencer performance, conversions, and ROI
Collaborate with the paid media team on creative direction, audience development, and performance insights
Provide creative briefs, UGC concepts, hooks, and messaging that support paid ad performance
Ensure that paid and organic strategies complement each other
Monitor all social channels and respond to customer questions, comments, and engagement opportunities
Maintain a supportive and positive brand community
Identify customer insights and report emerging themes to the marketing team
Track, analyze, and interpret social media performance metrics including engagement, CTR, CTA performance, ROAS, ACOS, CPA, conversion rate, audience growth, and content level KPIs
Produce detailed monthly performance reports for the executive team
Recommend optimizations and new initiatives based on data
Work closely with creative, marketing, merchandising, and paid media teams to ensure cohesive messaging and execution
Contribute to digital strategy meetings and campaign kickoff sessions
Support brand storytelling and strategic initiatives across email, site, and advertising

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Business, or a related field
5 to 7 years of experience in social media management for an ecommerce brand or retailer
Advanced understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and content best practices
Strong experience with social scheduling software such as Later or equivalent
Proficiency with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Insights, Pinterest Analytics, and TikTok Analytics
Deep understanding of KPIs including ROAS, CPA, ACOS, CTR, conversion rate, and customer acquisition metrics
Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills
Strong creative thinking with the ability to ideate and execute visually appealing content and campaigns
Experience managing influencers, negotiating deliverables, and overseeing creator partnerships
Ability to multitask, adapt quickly, problem solve, and thrive in a creative environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency with Excel, Smartsheet, and PowerPoint

Preferred

Experience with video editing and short form content creation is a plus
