Responsibilities

Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and structural issues on-site
Work with a team to make mechanical and structural repairs to woodyard cranes
Report findings of repairs to customers via an exit meeting and written reports. Must be able to communicate any defects and there severity in professional manner. Consult with customers on repair and safety issues, offering recommendations for improvement
Document findings and recommend corrective actions, including safety notifications to customers
Produce electronic documentation of inspections using company tools. Basic computer and Microsoft word skills required. Complete service reports and other required documents accurately and promptly
Stay updated on industry codes and regulations (OSHA, ANSI, CMAA, HMI)
Maintain company-issued equipment, vehicles, and assets in proper working order. Operate tools, equipment, and vehicles, reporting deficiencies to the supervisor
Follow established safety rules and procedures, including customer guidelines
Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor

Required

High School Diploma required
Minimum two (2) year experience involving mechanical and/or structural repairs
Rigging and/or welding experience is requirement
Must have and maintain a good driving record, including a valid driver's license
Must be willing to work off the ground
Can work varied overtime, as needed by customer
Basic computer and Microsoft word skills required

Preferred

Associate degree in Industrial Electrical and/or Mechanical Technology or related field preferred or equivalent vocational/technical training and experience
Prior experience with cranes is a plus
