Atlantic Group is seeking a Temp Controller to join their Finance/Accounting team, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer. This role is crucial for managing accounting procedures, performing daily and monthly accounting tasks, and supporting special projects, including future system implementations.

Responsibilities

Month-End Close: Oversee the month-end close process, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analyses

Compliance: Ensure compliance with GAAP, FASB, and internal controls, and assist with new policy implementation

Financial Reporting: Prepare periodic financial reports and track project revenue, expenditures, commitments, and cash flow

Audit Support: Serve as the primary contact for auditor requests and support year-end audit preparation

Financial Analysis: Deliver timely and accurate financial analysis, supporting planning, budgeting, and reporting activities

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements, drive automation, and strengthen internal controls

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting

5-8 years of Accounting/Finance experience in SaaS

Prior management of accounting staff

Proficiency in Salesforce

Thorough understanding of general ledger accounting

Thorough understanding of account reconciliation

Thorough understanding of GAAP compliance

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Attention to detail

Ability to follow standard procedures
