Responsibilities
Develop creative staffing plans to generate a qualified pool of applicants for current and future openings
Develop job based situational and behavioral questions for current and future job openings
Conduct interviews for a wide-range of positions
Develop relationships and open lines of communication with the Business Accounts Manager to help ensure successful placements
Research industry to understand requirements of positions and identify successful candidates
Update and maintain candidate database
Tracks and maintains records on candidates, job listings and client status
Stay abreast of any changes to federal and state employment laws as it relates to interviews and hiring
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Thorough working knowledge of recruiting and staffing industry
Minimum of three (3) years of previous experience as a Recruiter for a staffing agency, preferably in energy, engineering, manufacturing or light industrial
Proficiency in a variety of candidate souring platforms such as Indeed, Zip Recruiter, LinkedIn, etc
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritize
Computer literate, especially in MS Office and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), particularly Bullhorn
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop a rapport with candidate base
Preferred
BS Business Administration, Human Resources of related field preferred
