Responsibilities
Lead and support the design, analysis, and development of overhead transmission line projects
Provide technical expertise to address design challenges, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards
Monitor project progress, performance, and budgets while minimizing delays through proactive problem-solving
Prepare engineering documents, calculations, and drawings, while ensuring QA/QC procedures are followed
Conduct field work as required to support design verification and construction
Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions on schedule
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in power transmission and infrastructure design
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
Minimum 3 years of engineering experience, preferably in transmission line or utility projects
Strong proficiency with PLS-Suite and Microsoft Office
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt to different audiences
Team-oriented mindset with a desire to collaborate and support senior engineers
Preferred
Professional Engineer (PE) license
Familiarity with engineering and modeling software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, BlueBeam, FAD, or LPile
Active participation in professional engineering societies
