They are seeking a Project Architect to lead architectural design efforts, coordinate with project teams, and ensure high-quality design documentation and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Lead architectural design efforts from proposal through construction on multiple projects of varying size and complexity
Oversee and coordinate with project teams and junior architectural staff
Ensure high-quality design documentation, code compliance, and client satisfaction
Collaborate with engineers and other design disciplines to deliver cohesive, integrated project solutions
Participate in business development, proposals, and design presentations

Qualification

Architectural designRegistered Architect (RA)Autodesk RevitLEED BD+C accreditationAutoCADCommunication skillsLeadership skillsProblem-solving skillsMentoring ability

Required

7–10 years of experience in all phases of architectural design and documentation
Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) from an NAAB-accredited university
Registered Architect (RA) in Virginia or eligible for reciprocity within 3 months
Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and familiarity with AutoCAD
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Preferred

LEED BD+C accreditation
Experience with government (federal, state, or local) projects
Proven ability to mentor and support design staff
