Director of Marketing and Growth
ClarityX is a leading precision health genetics company specializing in pharmacogenetics, nutrigenomics, and direct-to-consumer genetic testing. They are seeking a Senior Growth Marketing Manager who will own the growth strategy, manage substantial advertising budgets, and optimize media campaigns across various platforms. The role involves leading performance marketing execution, creative direction, funnel optimization, and retention marketing to drive customer acquisition and lifetime value.
Responsibilities
Own ClarityX’s growth roadmap across acquisition, retention, and LTV optimization
Manage and optimize evergreen paid media campaigns across Google, YouTube, Meta, AppLovi, CTV and other platforms
Lead day-to-day performance marketing execution while identifying new growth opportunities and scaling what works
Manage and allocate multi-million dollar annual advertising budgets, optimizing efficiency and profitability (CAC, ROAS, MER, LTV)
Provide creative direction for ads (UGC, statics, motion, video, scripts, messaging angles)
Build and manage a structured creative testing system across different ad environments and placements
Create testing frameworks to continuously launch new creatives, iterate winners, and eliminate fatigue
Collaborate with creative contractors/designers/editors and hold creative output to high standards
Own the full customer journey from ad click → landing page → checkout → lifecycle flows
Build, launch, and optimize high-converting landing pages and funnels to improve conversion rate and reduce CAC
Implement and oversee A/B tests across ads, landing pages, email/SMS, and checkout experiences
Collaborate with the development team to improve site performance, upsells, bundles, and conversion rate
Develop and optimize email/SMS flows and campaigns to drive retention, upsells, and repeat purchases
Run re-engagement, remarketing, and post-purchase strategies to increase LTV and reduce churn
Own segmentation, personalization, and performance reporting across lifecycle channels
Build performance dashboards and report on KPIs: CAC, ROAS, MER, CVR, AOV, LTV, funnel drop-off, and cohort performance
Use attribution and analytics tools (GA4, Northbeam/Triple Whale) to make data-driven decisions
Provide clear weekly reporting and strategic insights to leadership
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience as an expert paid media buyer in healthcare marketing (DTC healthcare strongly preferred)
Advanced expertise in Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram) — including: Scaling evergreen campaigns profitably, Audience strategy (broad, LALs, interest, custom, retargeting), Creative testing frameworks + fatigue management, Deep understanding of Meta pixel/CAPI, attribution, and event prioritization, Structure for TOF/MOF/BOF and full-funnel optimization
Proven success managing and optimizing Millions annual ad spend (multi-million preferred), with strong control of CAC, ROAS/MER, and LTV:CAC
Strong experience building and managing full-funnel paid social strategies, including: Prospecting, retargeting, and lifecycle/remarketing, Offer testing, landing page iteration, conversion rate improvement, Cohort-based optimization (not just platform ROAS)
Proven ability to direct and manage creative strategy for Meta performance ads (UGC, statics, video concepts, scripts, hooks, angles)
Strong experience scaling healthcare/compliance-sensitive products while maintaining platform policy adherence (health claims, restricted content, etc.)
Expert-level understanding of performance marketing measurement and attribution: GA4, Meta reporting, and attribution tools such as Northbeam / Triple Whale
Ability to interpret blended performance (MER, contribution margin, cohort LTV)
Experience operating in high-growth e-commerce environments, including: Shopify conversion optimization, Funnel strategy, landing page building/testing, Email/SMS retention marketing (Customer.io / Klaviyo)
Strong analytical and reporting skills using Google Sheets (must be comfortable building models, dashboards, and deep analysis)
Strong communication, ownership mindset, and ability to execute in a fast-paced startup environment
