Responsibilities
Perform investigative research of various properties and buildings
Compose Property Condition Assessment reports, Construction Monitoring reports, and upfront Plan and Cost peer reviews for investors and lending institutions
Conduct walk-through surveys of buildings to assess the condition of a building’s components and site work improvements. Prepare cost estimate costs to remedy building deficiencies
Conduct review construction plans, costs, contracts and schedules
Interview property owners, occupants, key site personnel and local government officials to obtain information concerning the subject property
Coordinate, manage and respond to client follow-up questions and requests for changes or clarifications
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering or related field
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and communicate status to clients and internal management
Ability to conduct field visits including use of roof ladders, attics, and confined spaces
Ability to travel 30%-40% of the time (including some overnight travel)
Experience with reviewing or composing civil, structural, architectural, and MEP construction drawings
Proficiency in computer programs in Word, Excel, and Outlook, and on-line platforms
Understanding of building systems as it pertains to due diligence
