Vice President of Sales

Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market share for Taylon Skylights
Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales organization, including regional managers, territory sales representatives, and key account managers
Establish sales KPIs, performance metrics, and accountability systems
Drive new business development across commercial, industrial, and architectural markets
Expand Taylon’s presence with contractors, roofing companies, distributors, architects, and specifying professionals
Identify new geographic markets, channels, and product opportunities
Hire and build sales team
Own company-wide sales forecasting, budgeting, and pipeline management
Partner with operations and manufacturing to ensure accurate forecasting and on-time delivery
Optimize CRM systems, sales processes, and reporting to improve visibility and execution
Oversee pricing strategy, margin management, and discount approval
Lead or support negotiations on large or strategic customer contracts
Ensure sales growth aligns with profitability and production capabilities
Work closely with Marketing on lead generation, branding, and go-to-market initiatives
Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Customer Service to deliver best-in-class customer experience
Provide regular executive reporting and strategic insights to ownership and leadership
Qualification
Required
10+ years of B2B sales experience with at least 5 years in a senior sales leadership role
Proven track record of growing revenue and building scalable sales teams
Experience in construction materials, skylights, roofing, glazing, building products, or architectural sales strongly preferred
Strong understanding of contractor, distributor, and specification-driven sales models
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree a plus
Preferred
Leading multi-region or national sales teams
Working closely with manufacturing or made-to-order products
Implementing CRM systems and structured sales processes
Driving growth in both existing and emerging markets
