This role involves assisting the Maintenance Manager in operations, communication with various departments, and ensuring compliance with maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

Assist the Maintenance Manager in planning, organizing, staffing, directing and controlling the operations of the building and grounds maintenance department

Communicate with other departments based (i.e. front desk/ housekeeping) on various issues

Ensure overall quality and timeliness of maintenance performed both in-house as well as by contracted services

Ensure compliance of the preventative maintenance procedures within units and building systems

Assist other maintenance technicians as requested

Required

Variety of knowledge in the repair of electrical systems, plumbing systems, HVAC systems, structural repair and appliance repair

HVAC certification

Ability to work flexible hours depending on high demands times of year i.e. spring/summer

Physical ability to lift/carry 50 lbs. or more

Extensive lifting of supplies or equipment, walking, reaching, climbing, bending

Preferred

CPO certification or willingness to obtain is desirable
