Audit Manager
LHH is partnering with a growing firm looking to add an Audit Manager to their team. This role involves providing supervision on various audits and accounting functions, with approximately 35% travel to client sites. Candidates must be located in the Greater Detroit area to be eligible.
Responsibilities
Prepare and review financial documents, workpapers and audit programs
Apply relevant regulations
Analyze and improve client internal controls
Communicate effectively with clients
Develop risk assessments and recommendations
Conduct and direct staff in various audit programs and services by following the prescribed procedures
Draft and review audit reports
Complete audits within firm timing guidelines
Provide leadership and assistance to Audit Associates
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
CPA license, required
Minimum 5 years of audit experience, preferably in financial statement audits
Strong analytical, communication, and Microsoft Excel skills
Ability to work independently and travel up to 35%
Preferred
Financial institution client industry experience is a plus
