Responsibilities
Help launch Nira’s new business line with the Independent System Operators (ISOs)
Work directly with the founders every day
Responsible for going from zero to one at each ISO
Work hand-in-hand with a Transmission Planning Engineer (TPE) and an Echo (deployment strategist)
Travel across the country to embed directly with the ISO users
Transform how the grid is built at the ISOs
Make the ISOs more efficient to accelerate decarbonization of our power grid
Qualification
Required
Strong coder with 2+ years of experience as a software engineer
Loves talking to users and fixing their problems
Excitement about travel for on-site client work
Mission-oriented and focused on working on climate
Excited about nerding out with Nira's domain experts (Transmission Planning Engineers) to learn about how the power grid is built and maintained
Operate well in ambiguity and able to take ownership over large pieces of work
Capable of rolling with the punches; plans change at a growing startup
Preferred
FDE experience a plus
