Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of paralegals and legal assistants who track and monitor statutes of limitations for ongoing cases

Oversee the timely and accurate filing of legal documents to ensure compliance with applicable deadlines

Provide guidance and training to paralegals and legal assistants on statute-related matters and deadlines

Research and interpret statutes of limitations, tolling, and other legal time-sensitive matters in personal injury cases

Advise attorneys on statute-related issues, including extensions, tolling, and legal remedies

Review case files to ensure compliance with filing deadlines and statutes of limitations

Maintain an up-to-date master list of statutes and deadlines for active cases, collaborating with the legal team to ensure accuracy

Assist in developing strategies to manage and minimize risks related to statutes of limitations and filing deadlines

Monitor and manage case progress to avoid missed deadlines, collaborating with other legal teams to ensure timely filings
