Business Development Internship

Bizly is a company focused on revolutionizing the way marketers book in-person gatherings. As a Business Development Intern, you'll assist in bringing on venue partners and connecting with customers, gaining hands-on experience in startup sales and partnerships.

Responsibilities

Run outbound campaigns to bring on venue partners
Cold call and email venues to introduce Bonfiire
Set up and run demos with prospective partners
Help venues create their first packages on our platform
Reach out to field marketers and sales enablement teams
Conduct discovery calls to understand their needs
Demo the product and gather feedback
Help convert early interest into paying customers
Navigate, trial, and set up CRM tools—or build your own workflows
Research and identify new AI-powered tools for prospecting, finding contact details, drafting messaging and assets (landing pages, decks, one pagers, etc) and outreach (drip campaigns)
Build and run your own campaigns autonomously—we'll give you direction, you figure out how to execute

Required

Hungry, scrappy, and not afraid to pick up the phone
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable with ambiguity—you figure things out on your own
AI-native—you already use AI tools to 10x your output and you're always finding new ones
Comfortable navigating and learning new software tools quickly
Passionate about human connection and bringing people together IRL

Preferred

You want to learn startup sales and BD from the ground up
You're energized by rejection—every 'no' gets you closer to 'yes'
You'd rather build something than watch from the sidelines
You're always experimenting with new AI tools and finding innovative ways to get attention
You want to work directly with founders and have real impact
