The Structural Steel Project Manager oversees projects from award through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities
Contract Review & Interpretation: Review and interpret contract documents, plans, and specifications. Develop a proactive execution plan and communicate it clearly to the team. Take ownership of all aspects of project execution
Project Preparation: Break down plans to identify potential issues, prepare RFIs, and add critical notes and instructions to plan sets for team guidance
Detailing: Review detailing for accuracy before submission, coordinate with detailers throughout the project, and prepare hand shop drawings when necessary. Ensure accuracy of both submittal and fabrication drawings
Procurement & Buyout: Procure all project materials and subcontractors, manage overall project budget, and identify opportunities for cost savings
Project Execution: Conduct field measurements, develop site-specific erection plans, and coordinate with fabrication teams. Be present on site as needed to ensure smooth project execution
Managing Relationships: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers. Maintain proactive communication via phone, email, and project software. Handle scheduling, problem-solving, project updates, jobsite meetings, change orders, billing, and conflict resolution efficiently
Qualification
Required
5+ years in project management
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Proficient in Adobe Acrobat
Proficient in Procore
Proficient in ERP systems
Strong organizational skills
