Employment Specialist (Part-Time)
Beacon Group is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating opportunities for people with disabilities. The Employment Specialist will develop, implement, monitor, and maintain career opportunities for clients, including job skills training and career development services.

Ability to operate a motor vehicle
Ability to communicate and follow directions effectively
Ability to work effectively independently and in a team-orientated environment
Ability to obtain and maintain a fingerprint clearance
Qualification
Required
Proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel
Exceptional organizational skills a must
Bachelor's Degree and at least one year of full-time professional and/or volunteer experience in a social work setting and working with persons with disabilities; OR Associate's Degree and two years full-time professional and/or volunteer experience in a social work setting and at least one year working with persons with disabilities; OR High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and 18 credit hours of post-high school education in a field related to social work and two years of full-time professional and/or volunteer experience in a social work setting and at least one year working with persons with disabilities; OR High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and four years of full-time professional and/or volunteer experience in a social work setting and at least one year working with persons with disabilities
Ability to operate a motor vehicle

Ability to work effectively independently and in a team-orientated environment
Ability to obtain and maintain a fingerprint clearance
Preferred
Case management or knowledge of SMI or GMHSU services preferred
Knowledge of AHCCCS funding, Vocational Rehab services and integrated employment
