2nd Shift Inspection Supervisor
Royal Engineered Composites is seeking a 2nd Shift Inspection Supervisor to oversee the inspection process and ensure product quality. The role involves coordinating with various departments, coaching employees, and continuously improving inspection plans to meet delivery requirements.

Responsibilities
Coordinate with the inspection lead to ensure product is flowing according to schedules set in the ERP and scheduling system to other departments in a timely manner
Coordinate the final prep for shipping lead to maintain on time delivery to the ERP and scheduling systems
Oversee the efficiency of the process, and work with others to develop the need to continuously improve individual inspection plans
Oversee the digital inspection plan personnel, to ensure all requirements are effectively validated
Work with engineering and operations to implement sample inspection plans were allowed and create a plan to periodically review the accuracy of inspection plans
Coordinate with personnel to ensure source inspections are scheduled according to delivery requirements, and source audits are completed successfully
Oversee, coach, develop, and grow employees
Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation, record times to jobs accurately, and process and approve timecards for subordinates
Complete performance reviews of subordinates
Identify any shortcoming to schedule and communicate with scheduling
Coordinate training for new operators and coach existing operators on any new or changing processes
Demonstrate leadership in everything you do, be a helpful resource to your team members
Lead by example by safely and efficiently producing quality product
Share work methods and best practices with members
Promote company goals and lead employees to achieve personal and company performance goals
Encourage team effort
Communicate within the department and with other department members as required
Report problems or concerns with quality, processes, equipment, materials and labor to department supervisor
Initiate emergency action plan to keep employees safe in the event of a plant emergency
Update employees on new procedures and upcoming events
Research customer requirements, including equipment and accreditations
Ensure that tasks are being completed according to specifications
Responsibly handle all issues that arise within the department including disciplinary action when needed
