Manager, Marketing & Public Relations

The Hong Kong Tourism Board is dedicated to promoting Hong Kong as a premier travel destination. The Manager of Marketing & Public Relations will support the planning and execution of marketing and public relations campaigns for the USA market, focusing on enhancing positive sentiment and driving conversions for Hong Kong's unique travel experiences.

Responsibilities

Assist in building awareness of Hong Kong’s travel experiences and offerings amongst media, KOLs and consumers through strategic partnerships and ongoing relationship management
Manage brand, digital, social and PR creative assets; prepare communications materials, social media copy and press releases
Prepare and support HKTB and external spokespeople / ambassadors to ensure delivery of on-brand messages across media appearances
Liaise with digital and PR agencies on campaign and media planning and execution, including programming, press releases, pitching, newsletters, and other communications materials
Prepare or coordinate with agencies to deliver timely and accurate PR, digital, and social campaign reports, including weekly and monthly updates
Assist in organizing media and consumer-facing events both in the USA and abroad
Assist in managing campaign budgets, contract negotiations, service agreements purchase orders and payments
Contribute to identifying new PR and marketing opportunities to support HKTB’s ongoing business development
Undertake any other duties/ special assignments as directed by supervisor

Required

University Degree holder, with preferably at least 8 years of relevant working experiences in marketing, public relations, communications or related fields, ideally gained from the travel industry
Solid knowledge in integrated marketing and PR; knowledge of Hong Kong advantageous
Proficient in MS Office, Google/Adobe Analytics, Google Ads & Display Network, Facebook Ad Manager, Instagram, Photoshop and Content Management Systems
Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proactive, detail-oriented and well-organized; able to work with minimum supervision, manage multiple projects through to completion and meet critical deadlines under pressure
Strong team player with demonstrated ability to collaborate across diverse and international teams to support departmental and business goals with creativity and passion
Willingness to travel
