Business Development Rep - Central Texas
North Shore Steel is part of the Steel Service Centers group, delivering full-service steel solutions. The Business Development Representative will lead growth in the South Central region, focusing on customer relationships and on-site service.

Responsibilities
Prospect, win, develop and maintain long-term customer relationships across the assigned South Central region
Provide on-site service by measuring equipment and components to ensure the right wear solutions are provided
Represent the full SSC product line - Wearalloy plate, structural steel, and plate processing solutions
Partner with Inside Sales, CAD, and Operations teams to provide timely, informed solutions
Enter and manage leads, site visits, and pipeline activity in Salesforce
Represent the SSC brands at trade shows, plant visits, and industry functions
Qualification
Required
3+ years in outside B2B or technical sales in steel, fabrication, industrial supply, or equipment markets
Mechanically inclined with field service capability
Ability to confidently measure equipment in the field and interact with maintenance, operations, and procurement teams
Must be able to travel frequently across a multi-state territory, including TX, AZ, NM, and LA, with overnight stays as needed
Organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently across a large geographic area with excellent communication skills
Familiar with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office
Valid driver's license required and frequent regional travel required
