Responsibilities
Monitor and analyze process data to identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions
Develop, improve, and implement optimized processes to improve quality, reduce costs, streamline processes
Proactively identify process developments and designs to improve capability and presentation of these opportunities
Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for improvement and provide process technical support
Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process flows
Provide technical expertise to projects to ensure processes are designed for high-quality and efficient production
Be the technical owner on process deliverables: process simulations, design calculations, chemical applications, etc
Develop training for production teams to ensure consistency and quality in manufacturing processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Chemical Engineering or process related discipline
Self-directed learning, leading, and directing others
Contribution motivated individual
Experience identifying opportunities and implementing solutions
Preferred
Experienced knowledge in pulp and paper industry
Experience in planning, coordinating, and executing chemical trials
Ability to digest, retain, and communicate technical concepts concisely and effectively
