Senior Manager, Leadership Development
Albertsons Companies is seeking a Senior Manager for Leadership Development to lead the design and implementation of leadership programs. This role focuses on shaping the next generation of leaders through strategic vision and strong cross-functional relationships in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with senior HR leaders and business stakeholders to define a leadership development strategy aligned with the company's mission, values, and strategic priorities
Create innovative and engaging leadership development programs that address identified gaps, leverage a variety of learning modalities (e.g., instructor-led training, e-learning, experiential projects, mentorship, etc.), and foster a continuous learning mindset across the enterprise
Conduct ongoing needs assessments to identify emerging leadership development requirements throughout the organization
Build strong partnerships with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders to gain alignment, promote participation, and ensure the effective execution of leadership development initiatives
Develop and implement metrics to track the effectiveness of leadership development programs
Analyze data, gather feedback, and use insights to drive continuous improvement and demonstrate the value of these programs
Identify, select, and manage external vendors and consultants as needed to supplement in-house leadership development capabilities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Education, or a related field
7+ years of experience in talent development, with a demonstrated track record of designing and delivering successful leadership development programs
Deep knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and contemporary leadership development frameworks
Proven ability to influence, collaborate, and build relationships cross-functionally and at all levels of the organization
Strong program and project management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Demonstrated needs assessment and learning consulting skills
Excellent communication (written and verbal), presentation, and facilitation skills
Preferred
Master's degree
Prior leadership experience (holding formal leadership roles), executive development experience, and coaching experience
Proven track record of translating talent management philosophies into practical business applications
Demonstrated knowledge of talent management methodologies and philosophies
Strength in communication, collaboration, customer-focus and problem solving in an ambiguous environment
Great business, personal integrity, and behaviors congruent with our ACI values
Advanced individual contributor - ability to work independently with little direction
Solid working knowledge and comfort with technology (e.g. Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel)
High detail orientation
Intellectual curiosity - desire to learn and continually improve your craft
Experience using learning management systems and other HR technology
