Director of Strategic Initiatives and Partnerships
Belmont University is seeking a qualified Director of Strategic Initiatives and Partnerships to facilitate initiatives that enhance the university's work in creative spaces and industries. This role involves cultivating partnerships, managing projects, and communicating the impact of initiatives while aligning with Belmont’s Christ-centered identity.

Responsibilities
Cultivate relationships with external and internal partners working closely with the Vice President for Imagination, the Chief Creative Officer, and the Managing Director of the Creative Arts Collective as needed
Carry a portfolio of partnership projects facilitating collaborative programming that creates value for Belmont, its students, and partners which includes managing the active engagement and stewardship plan for key university partners
Create and manage onboarding and engagement processes for new partners
Carry a portfolio of projects and function as the project lead
Develop and oversee project plans for partnerships which could include but are not limited to exhibitions, performances, lectures, residencies, and special events
Oversee project plans as it relates to integration and coordination with academic partners and other campus units
Coordinate logistics, communications, and stakeholder meetings
Track timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure smooth execution
Prepare compelling presentations, reports, and updates for university leadership and external partners
Document and share the impact of initiatives through storytelling, media, and public engagement working closely with colleagues across campus especially the office of university marketing and communications and the Creative Arts Collective for Christian Life and Faith
Qualification
Required
Experience working in a fast-paced environment and the ability to respond to high-pressure situations
Ability to thrive in an environment of hard work
Ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills
Experience working with diverse communities and navigating institutional structures
Ability to communicate with external partners at the senior leadership level
Familiarity with project management tools
Ability to work with leaders at all levels
Ability to navigate confidential information as needed
Ability to take initiative and execute with clarity of the big picture
Bachelor's degree required
3–5 years of experience in project management and/or partnership management
Preferred
Master's degree preferred
