Responsibilities
Building and maintaining production software that supports our lending platform
Implementing features and fixes based on well-defined requirements and designs
Collaborating with Product and Engineering teammates to understand problems and solutions
Writing clear, testable, and maintainable code
Participating in code reviews and incorporating feedback to improve quality
Learning how our systems behave in production and helping resolve issues when they arise
Contributing to documentation and improving team workflows over time
Taking on more ownership as your experience and confidence grow
Qualification
Required
2–4 years of professional software engineering experience (or equivalent hands-on experience)
Experience building applications using Node.js and TypeScript
Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL and basic data modeling concepts
Exposure to cloud infrastructure, ideally AWS
Comfort working within an existing codebase and contributing incrementally
Ability to communicate clearly and ask questions when requirements or trade-offs are unclear
A growth mindset and willingness to learn from feedback
