The Fabrication Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily activities in the powder coat and tube fabrication areas, ensuring that all equipment is maintained and fabricated parts are built correctly while collaborating with various teams to improve processes and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

Physically and Visually inspect fabricated parts for proper assembly and function

Partner with engineering and product development teams to understand customer specifications

Communicate non-conformances to operators, Supervisors, and Managers

Be a liaison between assembly and other staff

Flex into rework and assembly roles as needed

Ensure adherence to workplace safety standards, regulatory compliance, and company policies

Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality capability of Fabrication and Paint operations
