Responsibilities

Define and execute the long-term engineering vision, architecture strategy, and roadmap in alignment with the client’s business objectives

Build, inspire, and retain a world-class engineering organization with a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning

Establish best practices for software development, quality assurance, DevOps, and release management to deliver reliable and scalable systems

Partner with Product, Design, and other stakeholders to define priorities, timelines, and technical trade-offs

Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and engineering methodologies to keep the client at the forefront of innovation

Mentor engineering leaders and managers, providing coaching, performance management, and succession planning

Ensure delivery of key initiatives on time and with high quality, while balancing speed and scalability

Oversee engineering budgets, resource allocation, vendor management, and operational metrics

Required

12+ years of progressive engineering leadership, including at least 5 years in a senior management role (e.g., Sr. Director, VP)

Strong background in software engineering, system architecture, and modern tech stacks (cloud, distributed systems, APIs, DevOps practices)

Proven ability to lead large, diverse engineering teams across multiple domains and geographies

Demonstrated success in setting engineering vision and translating it into an executable roadmap

Track record of delivering complex projects at scale, with strong program management and organizational skills

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to influence across the organization

Passion for building high-performance, inclusive teams and fostering a culture of innovation and accountability

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree a plus
