Operations Manager
FONpros is a rapidly growing small business lender & broker seeking an Operations Manager to own the full post-sales lifecycle—from credit submission through final funding. This strategic role involves managing a team and improving processes to enhance conversion rates and accelerate funding.
Responsibilities
Lead and develop the Credit Processing and Funding/Closing teams
Oversee application packaging, lender submissions, and waterfall strategy
Own stip collection, docs, and closing coordination to ensure smooth, on-time funding
Manage CRM/pipeline tools and produce operational reports & KPIs
Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements across the application-to-funding lifecycle
Maintain strong compliance and quality standards at every handoff
Qualification
Required
3+ years in operations management / processing management / senior supervision in Financial Services, Lending, or Brokerage
Experience managing teams that handle application processing, underwriting support, or loan closing/funding
Background in a high-volume environment (hundreds of deals per week) large brokerage or multi-lender shop
Strong CRM (e.g., Salesforce), analytics, and process-optimization skills
