The School Psychologist Intern will work under the supervision of a licensed School Psychologist to conduct assessments, assist in report writing, and collaborate with educational teams to support students' educational needs.

Responsibilities

Conduct individual evaluations in cognitive, behavioral, and academic areas as well as other areas that may be assigned
Work collaboratively with the assigned intern supervisor to provide comprehensive written reports of observations, assessment results, and recommendations within the standards established by the Special Student Services Department in collaboration with the intern's university program
Provides a variety of consultation and advice on issues such as behavior management, social skills and a wide variety of other matters to assist students in improving behavior to benefit the child’s education
Assists with/coordinates efforts for consistent behavior and environment for the child
Maintain regular attendance at work. Be punctual in meeting deadlines, attending meetings and following schedules
Maintains a variety of program records, files and documents according to program standards and established guidelines

Required

Enrolled in an accredited Master's degree or higher school psychologist program
Enrolled in an internship class with a University Program Advisor
Demonstrated successful course completion in cognitive, behavioral, and academic testing and related skills
