The County of Maui is seeking a highly motivated attorney to fill a full-time Assistant County Attorney II position. This role involves prosecuting criminal offenses, including felony and misdemeanor cases, within Merrimack County.

Government Administration

Responsibilities

Prosecute virtually all felony level offenses occurring in Merrimack County
Prosecute misdemeanor offenses for 19 towns spread throughout the County

Qualification

Litigating criminal casesJuris DoctorNH Bar Association membershipFelony case experience

Required

At least 5 years of experience litigating criminal cases in District Court and/or Superior Court
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
Member in good standing of the NH Bar Association
Valid Driver's License
Criminal background check will be required of all conditional hires
