Responsibilities

Assist in analyzing and improving manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety
Support data collection and analysis for time studies, workflow optimization, and root cause investigations
Participate in Kaizen events and continuous improvement projects
Help develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement process changes
Assist in designing tools, fixtures, or layouts using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
Document findings and present recommendations to the engineering team

Required

Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
Intern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future
Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions
Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
Exhibit the capability to manage several tasks at once while maintaining high standards of quality
Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress
