Responsibilities

Create and manage research programs through grant writing

Spend a significant portion of time writing research grants

Provide research direction on projects in the lab as a Principal Investigator or Key Technical Personnel

Receive mentorship and training on grant writing from experienced researchers

Transition into a role writing own grant proposals and mentoring junior grant writers

Secure funding from the SBIR program to grow own research group and execute multi-disciplinary projects

Influence customer-driven R&D and new product development
