They are seeking a Product Development Intern in their Adhesive Technologies business unit to develop and optimize adhesive formulations for consumer goods packaging, conduct sustainability assessments, and ensure compliance with performance standards.

Responsibilities
Develop and optimize adhesive formulations in the lab for use in consumer goods packaging applications
Conduct sustainability assessments of newly developed adhesives to evaluate environmental impact and recyclability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align adhesive performance with packaging sustainability goals
Perform testing and analysis to ensure adhesives meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards
Maintain a safe and compliant laboratory environment, following all safety protocols and best practices
Document experimental results and contribute to technical reports, supporting data-driven decision-making
Qualification
Required
A rising junior graduating in 2028, a rising senior graduating in 2027 or master's, graduate student pursuing a degree in Packaging Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering or Industrial Engineering
Knowledge of organic chemistry and material science, with formulation experience preferred
Basic understanding of sustainability, especially in packaging and materials
Lab experience, including familiarity with safety protocols and equipment
