Manufacturing Technology Engineer II
Niagara Bottling is looking for a Manufacturing Technology Engineer II to join their team. This role is responsible for partnering with various departments to design and develop complex manufacturing technology projects, focusing on software architecture and integration into enterprise systems.

Responsibilities
Design, modify and deploy Manufacturing Technology Solutions through various software’s across multiple sites
Specify hardware requirements and assist in the design of software systems dedicated to capturing process information related but not limited to OEE, FPY, Scrap, Rework, productivity, downtime analysis, and predictive maintenance
Recognize potential problems with existing equipment and develop solutions with the ability to adapt to various engineering designs, applications, and process criteria
Create dashboards and reports that present production data to plant staff and management
Perform data analysis using software tools to model and develop new understanding of manufacturing opportunities
Develop business logic when certain events are detected in operations to minimize the cost impact of the events
Work with internal stakeholders to identify their requirements and develop innovative solutions that meet and exceed these needs
Create and organize documentation on all MT solutions to facilitate knowledge transfer to Niagara manufacturing sites
Investigate equipment failures and difficult to diagnose faulty operations, and make recommendations to engineers, suppliers and customers
Proactively engage with customers in order to define the overall technical approach for Manufacturing Technology solutions
Maintain technical skills and knowledge and keep them continuously updated
Proactively report on project progress against schedule
Participate in strategic and tactical planning sessions
This position requires up to 50% travel
Qualification
Required
2 Years+ – Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment
2 Years+ – Experience in Position
0-1 Years – Experience managing people/projects
Bachelor's Degree with a preference in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or Industrial Engineering
Preferred
4 Years – Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment
4 Years – Experience working in Position
2 Years – Experience managing people/projects
Master's degree in mechanical engineering, Computer Science, or Industrial Engineering
Lean Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt
