7Seventy Recruiting is seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources & Payroll Specialist to support core HR operations. This role is critical in ensuring accurate payroll processing, reliable HRIS data, and compliance across a large seasonal workforce.

Information Services

Responsibilities

Payroll Processing: Process payroll accurately and on time, partnering closely with onboarding and payroll stakeholders
HRIS Administration: Maintain and update employee data in Paycom, perform system integrity checks, audits, and support process improvements across modules
Timekeeping & Scheduling: Partner with operations leaders to ensure accurate time tracking, punch compliance, break adherence, and scheduling accuracy
Reporting & Analytics: Prepare regular payroll, time variance, audit, and leadership reports, including data for invoices and board-level review
Onboarding & Offboarding: Support employee onboarding, orientation, and separation processes, including system-generated offers, documentation, and access coordination
Benefits & Leave Support: Assist with benefits administration, enrollments, terminations, leave management, and open enrollment activities
Compliance: Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, multi-state payroll tax administration, and internal HR policies
Employee Support: Serve as a resource for employees and managers regarding payroll, HR procedures, and benefits questions
Training & Documentation: Conduct system training on Paycom modules and maintain accurate HR documentation
Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with the HR Manager on audits, projects, and initiatives to improve HR operational efficiency

Required

2-4 years of experience in HR and payroll, preferably supporting multi-state operations with seasonal or temporary staff
Hands-on experience with an HRIS and payroll platform (Paycom strongly preferred)
Experience serving as a system administrator for HR or payroll systems
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage deadlines
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work full-time from a home office within the United States

Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
