They are seeking a Senior Accountant to join their growing Finance team, playing a vital role in building a scalable accounting function and collaborating cross-functionally with various teams.

Responsibilities

Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closes, including assigned journal entries, balance-sheet account reconciliations, accruals, and overall maintenance of operational management accounts

Support the cleanup and conversion of global books from cash to accrual basis, ensuring compliance with US GAAP across all regions for consolidated financial reporting

Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure correct expense coding and vendor classification

Execute mid-level general-ledger account reconciliations, accurate reporting, and data verification, enabling management to analyze options and make financial decisions aligned with company objectives

Assist with the implementation of a potential new ERP and P2P systems, and global accounting process standardization

Review bills for proper approval and documentation and manage accounts payables

Maintain and improve desktop procedures and financial documentation

Assist with the ongoing automation of our operational processes

Help drive the creation of standardized accounting procedures across all regions

Continuously identify and develop solutions for process improvement

Assist with ad-hoc projects

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field

3+ years experience in corporate finance or accounting

Exceptional organizational skills, detail-oriented mindset, and a high sense of urgency

Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Sheets

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Team player with a positive attitude and a fit in our fast-paced, inclusive culture

Located in New York City or the Bay Area (Hybrid schedule, 1-2 days a week)

Preferred

Xero, NetSuite, Workday, Intacct, Quickbooks, or similar ERP experience preferred
