The Private Market Direct Desk is seeking a summer associate to support distribution, originations, and operations functions, offering hands-on experience in deal origination, investment analysis, and relationship management.

Responsibilities

Assist with special research projects

Prepare reports and analysis used in management presentations and other reporting materials

Update prospective deal pipeline and synthesize internal factsheets

Assist in tracking revenues and generating invoices for any monies owed by sponsors or other parties

Support interactions between PMD desk and financial advisors to facilitate the investment process and provide solutions to technical questions

Prepare letters, forms, and spreadsheets to assist with servicing financial advisors and clients consummating transactions

Create and maintain records and files necessary for the operation of the business

Assists team members with marketing efforts including presentations, advisor/client launch emails, webinars, etc

Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Required

Freshman or Sophomore standing (December 2027-May 2029 graduates) pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field

Any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources

Eligible applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US and not require visa sponsorship now or in the future (including beyond OPT/EAD)

Knowledge of investment concepts, practices and procedures used in the securities industry

Knowledge of financial markets and products

Skill in MS Office suite of products, including Excel and Power Point

Ability to work collaboratively with a team-oriented attitude

Ability to organize, manage, and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced work environment

Ability to handle stressful situations and provide a high level of service and responsiveness in a calm and professional manner

Ability to work independently
