Start in 2026 SpringIAT Insurance Group is the largest private, family-owned property and casualty insurer in the U.S. They are seeking a Networking Intern to support the Networking Team, providing the opportunity to gain practical experience in monitoring and reviewing networking infrastructure. The role includes hands-on experience with networking equipment and documentation of network configurations.

Responsibilities
Reviewing nightly backup jobs of key networking equipment
Identifying key networking areas that can be improved, adjusted
Documenting routes, ACL’s, Firewall rules
Network Monitoring
Hands on experience configuring switches and routers
Real world Enterprise networking hands on duties
Shadow changes, upgrades and network design
Perform other duties as needed
Qualification
Required
Must be an undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Networking or MIS
Ability to work out of our Cheshire, CT office without any housing or relocation assistance from IAT
Desire to learn about Enterprise networking
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
A track record of outstanding academic performance
Eagerness to contribute to a team-oriented environment
Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
Excellent leadership, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by employer, now or in the future
